Central Library
A Library Forms The Integral Part Of Any Educational Institution Or Business Enterprise. It Is A Most Lively Place Providing A Safe, Comfortable And Friendly Environment That Enables Learning And Advancement Of Knowledge. The Mission Of The Central Library Is To Facilitate Creation Of New Knowledge Through Acquisition, Organization And Dissemination Of Knowledge Resources And Providing For Value Added Services.
The SDCH Library Is Taking Shape And Has Built Up A Modest Collection During The Past 6 Years. The Collection Is Primarily Related To Dentistry. Library Offers Services Such As Circulation, Reference, Library Information Service, Reading Hall, E-Library, Internet Facility Etc. The Library Has Been Using The Librarian Ver. 6.0 An Integrated Library Management Software Package With All The Modules For The Library Housekeeping Operations. The Details Of The Library At A Glance Are As Follows :
Hostel Mess
All STES Campuses Have Hostel Facilities. Each Room Has Sufficient Space And Has Attached Bath Cum Toilet. The Rooms Are Fully Furnished And Can Accommodate Three Students Each. The Rooms Also Have Incoming Telephone Call Facility. There Is A Separate Wing For Foreign Students In Two Hostels. Additional Facilities For Cooking, Washing Etc. Are Also Provided.
Clean, Hygienic And Quality Food Is Available At Subsidized Rates In The Mess Of All The Hostels. There Is A Separate Mess Exclusively For Girls In The Campus. The Convenience Of Non-Vegetarian Students Is Also Looked After By A Separate Non-Vegetarian Mess In The Campus. Canteens / Fast Food Outlets Serve Snacks And Refreshments To The Students.
There Are Separate Residential Blocks On The Campus, Providing Accommodation To Heads Of Institutions, Faculty And Other Supporting Staff Members. This Has Been A Strategic Decision, Which Has Cut The Commuting Time Of The Faculty And Helped Them Focus Better On Teaching And Guiding The Students.
Recreational Facilities
The Contribution Of Sports & Extra-Cirricular Activities Is Essential For The Development Of The Students. Therefore SDCH Encourages Students’ Participation In Extracurricular Activities Like Sports, Cultural Events, Social Activities Etc. This Breaks The Monotony Of Academics. The Sports Facilities, Both Outdoor And Indoor, Are Available On The Campus. A New Sports Complex Have Been Established Along With Existing Sports Facilities. This Includes A Huge Cricket Ground, Which Matches The International Standards, New Tennis Courts Have Been Provided For Practice And To Hold Top Class Tournaments. There Is Also A Wellmaintained Swimming Pool. To Promote And Encourage The Students To Take Part & Make Use Of All The Facilities Provided, Sports Meets And Various Tournaments Are Held Every Year.
Cultural Activities Bring The Students Together Apart From Providing Them An Invigorating Break. This Apart, STES Has A Student Population From Various Parts Of India, Which Makes Cross-Cultural Exchange Interesting. Sinhgad Cultural Centre Has Been Established To Nurture & Nourish The Creative Talent Among Students. Adding To That, Is The Celebration Of The Great Indian Diversity With A Series Of Oneness. Cultural Activities At The Campus Include Music, Drama, Fashion Shows, Dance Etc Which Brings The Students Closer To The Rich Indian Culture And Also Gives Them A Sense Of Unity. Various Cultural Competitions Are Held Throughout The Year, Which Culminate Into Sinhgad Karandak. Sinhgad Cultural Centre Also Invites Renowned Artists; Who Present Their Performances. In Addition To Our Own Talented Students We Have Had Many Artists Of Repute Who Have Showcased Their Talent Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, Pt. Vijay Ghate, ‘Gaarva’ Fame Milind Ingale, Ms. Suvarna Mategaonkar, Ms. Bela Shende, Dr. Salil Kulkami & Sandeep Khare.

A Clinic For Routine Medical Services, With Quality Medical Staff Is Available On The Campus. SKN Medical Hospital Is Well Equipped To Handle All Medical Emergencies.
